1. Health Care
a. Increase Medicaid Reimbursement to Doctors
b. Restore and expand the CHIP program.
c. Explore ways to make health care insurance more affordable
d. Push for Universal Health Care

2. Education
a. Increase funding for Community in School (Drop Out) program.
b. Fund & Reinforce College Readiness Programs for our students.
c. Keep the top 10% Admission Rule
d. Promote full funding for the TEXAS Grants Program.
e. Review Tuition Deregulation & its effects.

3. Senior Citizens
a. Help our Elderly citizens on fixed incomes with the payment of their utility bills (electricity, gas, and water) incorporating the effects of the     recession and higher energy costs.

4. Military Value
a. Fund Veteran's Mental Health Care
b. Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) impacts and action.
c. Investigate and promote work opportunities for military spouses and children.

5. Economic Development

a. Review Legislative Agenda proposed by the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. Focus on small business development / growth.

6. Transportation
a. Fund the Inner Loop
